Study concept and theory of quality of life, International Labor Organization’s
standard, and government policy towards quality of life of labor. Analyze pro-
visions and applications of labor protection act, process of judgment for labor
cases, and labor rights in social insurance act. Analyze trade union movement
and its strategies to claim labor rights and quality of life. Analyze direction
of strengthening labor movement fighting for judgment and lessening gap in
society including preparation of Thai labor to adapt with free labor migration
in ASEAN in the 2015.

Ph.D. candidates must study in-depth the concept and theory relevance
to theirs dissertation topic. Drafting research proposal composed of research
objective, scope of research, theoretical framework, research methodology,
data collection, data analysis, and report presentation. After passing defend
examination, Ph.D. candidate must conduct research in qualitative manner,
reporting the progress, writing, and improving their dissertation to meet the
international academic standard under closely supervision of theirs advisor.
