IEP 303 Business and Social Entrepreneurial

3(3/3-0-0) Prerequisite : IMG 101

This course is a study of concepts and qualifica-tions for business entrepreneurs, problem analysis, opportunities in business environments, feasibility studies, business cultivation process, determination and development of new challenges in business. It determines the business structure and investment models of a business plan, financial funding, business entry and exit. This course will enable students to establish a business and lead in social change based on sustainable growth both in the business owner and society. Students will learn how to measure their social and environmental cost as well.

IEP 305 Cross-Cultural Management 3(3/3-0-0)

in the ASEAN Community and China Prerequisite : None

This course will explore various business models that enable managers to adapt to social differences and leverage resources in a cross-cultural setting. Students will explore the range of management, marketing, financing, and service processes that currently affect the AC and China. Social responsibility, sustainability, employee satisfaction, leadership, brand value, and stakeholder returns in AC and Chinese enterprises will also be discussed.

IEP 402 Small and Medium Enterprise 3(3/3-0-0)

in ASEAN Community and China Prerequisite : Senior Standing

This course focuses on implementing and develop-ing small and medium enterprises for a new challenge in business areas of the ASEAN Economic Community and China. It determines the business opportunity,

formulations of investment models, business plans, business partners, financial funding, establishment and leading through social differences in the ASEAN Economic Community and China.

Rules and regulations, planning, process of export and import and customs ; organization structure ; strategic decision making in market segmentation, product selection, pricing, procedures, credit and payment terms, packaging, sales promotion ; transporta-tion insurance and document preparation.

Student will gain knowledge in how to manage individuals; learning,perception, motivation, personality and interpersonal and organizational process; group, conflict management,leadership patterns; communication and organizational change.

IMG 303 Business Ethics and 3(3/3-0-0)

Corporate Social Responsibility Prerequisite : None

Ethical theories and Business Corporate Social Responsibility. Internal analysis and external business problems effecting business ethics, business policy for sustainable enterprise and stakeholders.

IMG 401 Leadership 3(3/3-0-0) Prerequisite : IMG 101

Upper-level seminar course ; leadership theory and concepts, research study ; development of leadership and interpersonal skills through self-assessment case analysis, and experiential exercises.

IMG 402 Strategic Management 3(3/3-0-0) Prerequisite : Senior Standing

Synthesis of material from accounting, economics, finance, operation management, human resources, law and marketing ; technology to consider problems in corporate and business level strategy ; discussion of actual business areas.
